Passengers on the Orange Line trolley can get off on Phillip Fulmer Way or at University Commons. Metered on-street parking also is available on side streets throughout Fort Sanders. Pay attention to temporary no-parking signs or bagged meters, and remember to plug the two-hour meters in the area; parking enforcement by Public Building Administration personnel continues until 6 p.m. For a post-parade celebration, where merchants will be offering specials, promotions and giveaways, and the floats will be parked on display. Our 2022 Parade of Homes information and website will remain linked until the start of the 2023 event. All Parade houses will be open to the public in 2023; "virtual-only" homes will not be included. The Parade of Homes is an annual event produced by the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee . The event features multiple new homes created by the industry's top builders and designers in a premier local development. Attendees visit the Parade for ideas, inspiration or just a fun day out getting a glimpse at the latest home design trends while touring eye-popping new houses.

Riders on KAT’s Route 10, 11 and 17 buses wanting to attend the parade can get off the bus at Cumberland and 11th Street or at Cumberland and 22nd Street.

ORNL Federal Credit Union and Tindell's are co-presenting sponsors for the official Parade of Homes. The idea behind the Parade of Homes is to introduce East Tennesseans to many new and modern home concepts from area builders. The three-weekend event features homes that range in price from $154,900 to more than $2 million. Last year’s HBAGK Parade of Homes™ saw record-breaking attendance and the 2019 Parade of Homes™ is expected to draw even bigger crowds. The free event provides one-on-one access to builders and their representatives at each showcase home, making it a must-see event for those actively building homes now and those thinking about building in coming years. 2022 Parade house information will be available the week of September 19 however homes will not be open until Friday, September 30.

KAT’s Orange Line trolley will be detouring off Cumberland Avenue at Phillip Fulmer Way to Lake Loudon Boulevard to Neyland Drive to Joe Johnson Drive to reach University Commons. The parade includes the eighth annual Little Vol Walk, featuring children ages 10 and younger who will be riding on decorated wagons, strollers and tricycles. Guidebooks for the parade are available for free at all ORNL Federal Credit Union locations. Those who already own a home and may not be in the market to buy or build can also find ideas to upgrade, modernize and remodel their homes during the parade.
